Um estudo da representação da língua (indígena e portuguesa) dos professores terena: discurso e identidade

Abstract

Este trabalho propõe analisar as representações de língua e linguagem no discurso de professores terena, da região Aquidauana, ms, enquanto mecanismos de controle e de defesa de uma etnia minoritária para a sociedade hegemônica. O procedimento metodológico recorre ao método genealógico foucaultiano (1987, 1990, 1992, 1997), às noções de identidade e subjetividade abordadas por Bauman (2005) e Lescano (2010), às questões de língua discutidas por Cavalcanti e César (2007), Coracini (2003, 2007) e Derrida (1996), numa visão transdisciplinar. Alguns resultados observados assinalam que os discursos dos professores indígenas são formados, bem como as suas identidades docentes, a partir de suas relações com a sociedade dominante como efeito de espelhamento.

Abstract: This study proposes to analyze the representations of language and language in discourse of the Terena teachers from the region Aquidauana - ms, from the perspective of control mechanisms and the defense of a minority ethnic regarding the hegemonic society. Methodological procedures use the Foucauldian genealogical method (1987, 1990, 1992, 1997), the notions of identity and subjectivity addressed by Bauman (2005) and Lescano (2010) and questions of language discussed by Cavalcanti and Cesar (2007), Coracini (2003, 2007) and Derrida (1996), in a transdisciplinary view. Some observed results indicate that the indigenous teachers’ discourses and their teacher identities are formed from their relationships with the dominant society as mirroring effect.
